Gaming for All: A Women in Games Celebration
Celebrate the contributions of women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ communities, people with a disability, and other under-represented groups to the world of video games! Hosted by The Strong and the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Kick off the evening in The Strong’s Paychex Theater at 6:15 p.m. for powerful micro talks and a panel featuring trailblazers from the video game industry.
The event also includes:
- Explore the museum’s second floor, including ESL Digital Worlds, Age of Empires, and World Video Game Hall of Fame
- Complimentary ‘gamer’ snacks and nonalcoholic beverages
- Meet local game developers and try their games presented by ROC Game Dev
- Live video-game-themed music from Glitch
- Play video games created and/or inspired by BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ communities, and other underrepresented groups
Tickets are $20. Seating is limited. Tickets are nonrefundable.
Tickets and access to Gaming for All: A Women in Games Event at The Strong are available for all eligible members of the RIT community and the broader community, regardless of gender or any other protected category.
